Nutrition Coaching
At Fitness Matrix we are committed to our client’s success. Whether a client’s goal is simply to lose 10 pounds or to make substantial behavior changes to their diet to deal with diabetes, obesity or heart disease, he or she will work with a Certified Nutrition Coach.
The Coach helps the client or group to complete an initial assessment, to establish goals, and to develop a workable dietary and nutrition plan that is compatible to the clients need. At Fitness Matrix we believe one persons food may be another persons poison.
The Nutritionist plan includes assistance with understanding why food is the matrix of of ones wellness, meal planning, recipes and cooking suggestions, along with suggestions for overcoming obstacles.
When appropriate, the Coach makes referrals to adjunct services such as medical screenings, fitness and lifestyle intervention resources. The Coach also provides ongoing follow-up, coaching and encouragement that will help the client achieve their long term goals.
